So on my F i noticed the headlights were pointed a little too low and looked at the bolt on the rear left side of the car and noticed the bolt was 3/4 of the way up towards the top. If I adjust the bolt do I have to adjust it with the car on or with the battery on or can I leave the lights off then just switch them on after move the bolt? Thanks in advance guys

I would adjust them with the lights on. The car doesnt need to be on, but the lights do.

Edit: Is it both sides, or just one?

Okay sounds good thank you! It's both sides, the bolt is pretty much at the top which tells me both lights are aimed straight down

to properly adjust them. Park on a level ground 20 feet from the wall. Measure from the ground to the center of the headlight. Mark this on the wall with a plus sign with the measurements you got.
