Default Rear differential service with JoeZ exhaust

Has anyone had any problems with getting a rear diff service with a JoeZ PTS exhaust? Tried to get it done at Lexus but they wanted to charge an extra hour of labor to remove the mid pipe. They said the exhaust was blocking the drain plug.

I mean I installed the exhaust myself and I wish I had my tools with me but its in packed up and enroute to Hawaii for my move. I wonder if they were just BSing me

Thanks in advanced!

Yes the axle pipes are in the way since two pipes are in the area...

I did my own, just moved one of the axle pipes over after unbolitng and wrapped the rest up in plastic..
In case any spill out during refill..

We also used a small funnel during drainage to help direct the oil down right from the drain plug.

I took mine to JE import performance this past weekend for fresh diff fluids. I am not sure if they removed my Joe Z exhaust rear section or not.. Screw Lexus service in general. I have a 2013 Porsche Cayenne turbo and a CL550 and Lexus service the lowest rung in terms of service quality control and expertise especially when it comes to anything with the F. It's an embarrassment IMO.

Anyways.... JE did a top notch job though. I was in and out of there in about an hour. I also got my oil changed as well. I chilled in the waiting room with my laptop and watched a few shows on Netflix with their wifi. Top job!! And great price. I will be bringing my cars to JE as long as I live in this area, even if I don't have the ISF and bring a different sports car.

Hey there, I have JoeZ's exhaust (love it!!) on my 08 ISF and I just had my diff serviced at 45k last month by my local Lexus dealer, and was not charged additional labor. I actually didn't know there was an issue until this thread.

I may take a peak under the car this weekend and see if I notice anything abnormal, but I've had nothing less than great experienced with my dealer services in the past.

How often is the diff fluid supposed to be changed?

Around 45k-60k mark. I got mine done at 45k, I don't track my car or drive that aggressive so I probably could have waited a little longer. But I happened to be in for an oil change anyways and JE imports did it for a great price compared to stealership costs obviously.

I don't think so...I've done mine in the past (on a car lift) and never had to remove any section of the exhaust.
