As a matter of fact it's a bit too bassy at times. It depends, when I listen to hip hop it's spot on. But when I listen to some electronica it's more than enough bass...I achieve it by turning the mid settings down. If it's raised more than halfway, it really dissipates a lot of the bass. This is utilizing the Bluetooth source, while playing back music from my iPhone.

Yea, the bass isn't bad with electronica and most hip hop. For me, its rock and metal where the mark levinson craps itself.
Also, as far as sound quality, XM is just bad in this car, if that is what the OP is referring to. To me, the FM stations actually sound much better.

Has anyone tried Tidal?
Been curious to see what the higher sound quality music sounds like from that service. I like how Spotify sounds but not sure if I want to pay double p/mo for something I may or may not notice in the car.
