We remove cats, install headers, exhaust systems, intakes, nitros kits, coilovers, and wheels that are probably not recommended by Lexus

^^^^Yes, Ethanol is corrosive and if E85 is run in a vehicle not designed to handle it, you will have issues. Did you not read post #10:

My Silverado is a FlexFuel vehicle that is designed to run with E85.

Yes I did.

Lexus knew there was a possibility of people running 10% ethanol; knowing how Toyota likes to overbuild everything I bet there is a huge safety factor for ethanol.

Now looking at another platforms that do not recommend more 10% ethanol; FRS/BRZ, Subaru, EVO's, GTR's, BMW etc etc all of them are currently running 100% E85 on the stock fuel systems. Obviously some have change injectors and fuel pumps depending on the setup. Some stock fuel systems having the head room for the 30% more fuel flow required for E85.

I run 100% E85 for about 6 years in my 2007 WRX without absolutely no issues; it is also only recommend to run 10% ethanol. I run about 3 years with modified stock injectors for extra flow and Walbro 255lph fuel pump. All the seals, lines, gaskets were all OEM. You can look on other forums and you will find that is the same case, you will find thousands of threads of people running 100% E85 on vehicles recommended to run 10% ethanol.

There is high probability that it should be the same case for Lexus. Most of the car manufacturer use the same tier 1 suppliers for their fuel systems. I know that there is some cars have issues with running more than 10% ethanol but what i found is that most of these car are American and older than year 2000. There is some also some issues with gunk on the injectors but is easily fix by running a little bit of 93oct to dissolve the gunk from time to time.

My point is that real world experience says other wise; that fuel systems are over designed and they can take more than the recommend amount of ethanol . I might do some testing starting with 20% ethanol and see what happens. I have no idea how much head room do we have and what is the current injector duty cycle. I know MRxSLAYx tried to run E85 but he got a lean condition but he doesn't said what percentage of ethanol he run. Some NA cars have gain 10-20hp by switching from 93oct to E85 obviously with some tuning.
