Hello,

I just took delivery of my F which came from idaho and it had Flowmasters installed. The welds look good but now i am stuck between keeping the flowmasters or installing my Borla system. Has anyone welded in flowmaster mufflers before? If so what is the sound difference?

If its just the mufflers and not the full catback.. swap it out for your Borla. Not much if any gains for simply adding different mufflers.. more for sound.

Just guessing here but Borla probably won't be too much louder if that's what you're looking for. If it is just mufflers, the Borla exhaust should still be lighter. Does it have connected tips or the stock exhaust diffusers?

I personally think flowmasters sound better than borla...at least on the muscle cars...
