Congrats. Just a heads up. My father owns a C5 Z06 since new. The C5 Z06 engine had a problem with the valve springs breaking. His broke reversing out of the driveway and was lucky there was no further damage. It had 18,000 Miles on it when it broke so you may want to look into replacing the springs if your year was effected by this. I don't think there was ever a recall.

Wow, that is quite the difference from the S2K! Nice find with crazy low mileage. My best friend had a twin turbo C5 Z06 putting down something like 710/680 to the wheels. Just stupid quick. Couldn't hook up even with drag radials though and the power was virtually unusable. It was and still is the fastest vehicle I've ever driven.
Great find.
Great find.

Bought the car from the son of a guy who had passed away and his kids were selling off his car collection. I stole the car for 19,900. Had to fly from New York to ohio to get the car and drove it home. It had a couple little kinks. The titanium exhaust has been switched out for a normal c5 exhaust for an unknown reason which kinda pissed me off. Has a small windshield air leak that I'm having fixed Monday and the front bumper has been repainted which is not the best job. For the price I paid il deal with finding the right axel back, repairing a window leak and respraying a front bumper. Your right about the 30k. Once its wrong are corrected with under 20,000 miles I'd be right at the 28-30 k marker.

Does this Z06 still have the factory titanium mufflers? The exhaust tips are supposed to be round not oblong. Oblong exhaust tips came on the non Z06 'vettes. I had a 2002. I love it.

I've been out driving the z for the last week which is just a mechanical beast. It's a riot, Grunty and raw, constantly making me wonder how in control I really am. Then hopped in the F yesterday... So different. I instantly felt invincible in the F. There is so much more precision, composer and confidence in the F. After all that low end tq where the vette wants to go sideways everywhere in attempts to do 0-100 like a rocket, the F feels torque less in low end. Putting it to the floor everywhere without worry of it going anywhere. I instantly felt like I had a long lost love for the F seats. I missed my steering wheel controls. And all the amenities really. I really think they are a nice pair. If you want a wild beast with a manual that vette will keep smiles on your face and the occasional " oh *****" fun. Want a four door surgical tool with paddles, hop in the F and enjoy your drive with a few passengers.
