All who have tried have failed. Best of luck with that. If you succeed, you will have a monopoly.

^^He might wanted novel headers.....those are pricey. I remember seeing a prototype Greddy Supercharger here on the classifieds a while back. I remember the post concluded that it can boost 4 psi and any higher was on the buyer. Its been a while back so i don't remember too well. Perhaps someone here can dime in on that one.

Let's just say in a nutshell intake, headers, catback, and nitrous (depending on what size jets you use) will get you in the neighborhood of 500whp. Now if you want to step outside the box by all means do so, it's your money. But just know that there has been those before you that have and not succeeded. Your biggest obstacle from what I've seen is tuning.

Your 100% right.. Tuning is everything.. Never going to happen..

Tuning is only one factor, and I wouldn't say is the main obstacle. The real problem lies with communication with all the ecu components and the source code needed to hack in to it to make changes. We have a auto/manual tranny with a very intelligent ecu controlling it; make changes to the main ecm(or swap in a standalone) and everything else will not work properly. While it may be possible to run some type of piggy back unit to simulate conditions, there is so much involved that it will throw a fit(everything is tied in to one another and not as independent as you would think). I believe there are 14 ecus in the ISF. While some software engineer maybe able to tap in to it, it is more than just making a couple changes, he would need to know the full spectrum of how everything works and ties in with one another. If he is that intelligent, I am pretty sure he would not be working as a tuner.
The only true solution to really modify our engine, you would need to pull everything luxury out of the car, including going with a different tranny. Run a stand alone that controls the engine only and bolt up a regular manual tranny. Manabu "Max" Orido is currently campaigning a Toyota 86(FRS) with a 2URGSE engine...it is running on a manual tranny and motec standalone. No one here on this board wants to tear up their ISF and take it to that level...which involves tossing all the luxury out of their car and going with a basic setup. Plus the money involved to make it happen.

Swap in a supercharged 3UR and guaranteed nobody here is going to care since it is not the original 2UR engine. Just like the Ekanoo ISF, quite a few members here don't care or even associate it to our ISF, since it has a different engine and was just an ISF shell.
