Swapping HID kit from IS250 to ISF
Hey guys i'm going to be selling my is250 which i had bought a H11 HID kit and i see that the ISF uses the D4S bulb. I just wanted to know if i could swap over what i had bought from the IS250 so i don't sell them with the car and then have to buy them again. Thanks.

Are you talking about the fog lights or the headlights? H11 sounds like fogs.

No you can't switch an H11 for a D4S. Nor would you want to really. The OEM D4S is going to be better than ANY aftermarket setup (unless you retrofit, say LS projectors or something). If you want to keep your H11 kit, pull them out of your 250, and put some cheap halogens in it before you sell it. Pair of halogen H11s should be about $20 or less. And just hang on the H11 kit until you have a car that can use them or sell them to a friend who can use them. As long as take the proper handling and storage precautions with the kit it should still work after years of sitting, pending it's a quality kit.
