That's the crossbar that's bolted up against the midpipe. 2 bolts are missing. You went to a quality shop.

Looks like it might just be a bracket that goes over the exhaust. Looks like the installer might've forgotten to bolt in the other side.

I think that's the thing that you need to use to hit the cable to generate 1.21 gigawatts from the clock tower when lighting strikes it.

Quality workmanship at its very finest. It appears that three of the four bolts may be missing to allow it to pivot into that position, the fourth will surely follow if it is driven much more.

Here is a pic of mine the day I did the install, with the crossbar clearly visible, bolted in place.

Yeah, it mounts under the plastic as well, if memory serves me right they are 14mm. Suprised the guy didn't slice his face on it right before letting it down.

This is the "mid brace" or aka the mid trans tunnel brace. There is a round one that bolts on under plastics this one doesn't. I'll be making some out of aluminum in the next week

Thanks... These are the same ****** who told me my IVIC 5D was defective and they couldn't install it. Sent it in to Vais, and the unit is fine. I hate living in a small town...

I would drive to Minneapolis, or for that matter California, before I would let this shop touch anything I own. That is exactly why I am adamant about doing everything myself unless it is a warranty issue.

I think anyone would of seen that piece hanging down. More likely he placed a couple bolts to hold it in place and didn't torque them down. And after driving around the bolts loosened and fell off.

You were right. Just got back from the shop, the idiot tech was there and I showed him the hanging piece. Said he might of forgot to tighten the bolts. I almost slapped him. These are the only guys in town who tint/install aftermarket parts.
