All very good points.... I 100% agree. Thank you for the correction

Not sure about that...the 01NSX has identical times to the ISF....

Anyone who would like to believe all cars produced in a given year will perform identically is not living in the real world. there can be very significant variations from car to car because of manufacturing tolerance stacking, and most engines are built to perform adequately under warranty. they are not optimized to produce best power, and this is where "blueprinting" makes big differences. Manufacturers often provide better than average cars for testing. For example, there was a red hardtop MkIV Supra tested in spring of 1993. It ran a 13.1 quarter mile with Car and Driver's tester at the wheel. No Supra tested by any magazine after that car ran better than 13.3. Rumor was the ECM from that car was removed before it was crushed and returned to Toyota in Japan. No owners ran 13.1 on a stock Supra. Ever. So, it doesn't surprise me at all there are different numbers for different years of NSXs.

Just like how the 3IS is slower than the 2IS.

finally got a little street challenge this morning from a GLA 45AMG. He rolled up and I dusted him on the high end. Those things have some good low end grunt though.
