Is the ISF ever coming back?
, I went with an 3isfport because there wasn't an ISF anymore I just don't get why they discontinued it =(. I just think the RCF looks so ugly from the front heck the back isn't all that either. To me the ISF was perfect, 4 doors(my kids) fast as heckkkk and overall just prettier. I'm dreaming they make an ISF that looks like the 3is and that cheaper than 60k now that the RCf is out . Hey I can dream

^^^ he's right about that. And the extra 50hp that they both have over the ISF is compensated for the heavy *** they carry lol.
I believe the GSF will start at atlas $70k

The fact that Lexus is not producing an ISF is yet another HUGE marketing error. These guys can build them well but they make some pretty stupid decisions from time to time. This is one of them.
How the hell does BMW have a 4 door M3 and Lexus just sits idle with the RCF which even as a two seater has less headroom for the driver then the ISF and seems narrower on the inside when I sat in it.

I might assume that in a few years when the 3IS gets remodeled ( I think its way too feminine anyways ), It'll resume the ISF name on the redesigned chassis. Could happen, who knows.

between the new LS looking exactly like my old one, the GSF being weak as hell, RCF weighing 400 lbs more than M4, and no ISF Id say they need a new product development team. We are heading in the right direction but still too slow and we dont have time to waste . Why is this not obvious to Lexus.

Cadillac did away with the CTS-V sedan for a few years ('14-'15) and only made it in a coupe, but now it's coming back in 2016. Same thing happened with the M3 sedan (absent from '97-'08). Hopefully Lexus will do the same and bring back the ISF at some point. Based on the CTS-V sales, for example, there are nearly as many people who want 4 doors on their $60-$80K high performance luxury car as there are who want 2 doors.

My "hunch" is that Lexus is building up to the IS-F, and will bring it back in a big way (I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of their first big turbo engines). My other "hunch" is that Lexus knows what their doing, because they're a billion dollar company and we're not.

Yeah, Apparently the FT-1 is also made to be an affordable sport car for consumers. Im thinking $50-60k mark?
