Obv all of us would say "get the F"... you should also ask this in the IS350 forums and see what they say also.

In short my reasons for the F over the new 350: faster, rare, looks better (IMO), V8 instead of V6.
For new 350 over F: better interior than F, cooled seats.

LOL that's a good analogy

Welcome to Nebraska and I'm sure moving from Florida was not easy...ha I have an IS-F and its a great car and I would definitely recommend it over the 350, but I also don't drive mine year around. I'm sure with a set of snow tires, they would be fine though as our winters over the last couple years have been mild. I just hate all the potholes and salt on the road, so I let mine sit for most of the winter.

Are you in Omaha?

lincoln not to worried about the salt
we have been using some kind of gell and dirt on the roads but yeah potholes are a huge issue id have to drive slow. it would be in the garage but it would have to venture out into snow

Yeah I heard the gel they use now is actually worse on cars than the salt, but who really knows. Good luck on whatever you choose and hope to see you out sometime.

I waited for 18 months before getting my ISF on December 31st. The dealer tried many times to sell the IS350 but when I heard the growl of the V8 and the stance of the ISF is just awesome. Then I took it for test drive and the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up.... LOL.

My ISF is my daily driver which each time i drive it is very exciting. Now the weather is getting good the motorcycle is coming out so the ISF will be getting some rest.

ISF would be my choice hands down.

I drive my ISF all year around in Canada and it's good in the snow with a good set of snow tires.

The "gel" you are talking about is likely a brine, maybe calcium chloride... So basically liquid salt for the roads, I have heard it's worse but we still use salt/gravel mixes and I am lucky to get a year out of windshield and 1/2 of my car is covered with suntek clear paint protection so I don't get rock chips all over

I used to have a 350 before the F...and before I got the F i thought the 350 was awesome, plenty fast, nice interior with the navi package, etc...but the F is just a whole new Beast of a car. Its not just about the mighty V8, but the brakes are much better, tighter suspension, steering, the seats hold you better, nicer gauge cluster to look at (300km/h top speed ), etc the list goes on..

If you are considering both cars, then get the IS350. If you aren't sold on "needing" what the ISF has to offer, then it might not be for you...lol.

If you can afford it go for the IS-F. I was in the same boat up until 4 days ago and ended up getting an 08 IS-F. The difference is huge and price wise they are close, at least here in SoCal. People are asking $28-$30K for 2010+ IS350s with around 40K miles on them. I bought an 08 IS-F with 44K miles for $33.5K. I drove a few 350s but the driving experience is nowhere near what you get with the F.

I was in the same situation at one time. I probably would have bought the 350 but my mistake was that I test drove the F first. It's been a little over 3 years now owning the F and no regrets.

Like the Old Tomato Juice commercials:

"You could have had a V8!!"
LOL
I cancelled an order on a new 2014 is
350 f sport.
So very happy i did and bought a 2012 isf

Fantastic car!!!

What also turned me off about the is350
Was the fact they used he same exact motor that was in the older body style:
306 HP

And probably very similar engine in my wife's 2007 Camry V6.

Both of those seemed pretty quick until I drove the ISF!! Wow!!!!

And I never see any others so it is a rare car.

Using more gas does not bother me..

Lexus is good either way!!
Cheerio
