Default 08 isf hood....aluminum?

I just want to know if the isf has aluminum stock hood? It seems lighter than other cars and it sounds different when you knock on it...sounds like a very thin material, similar to evos

Try a magnet, and you'll see it's aluminum.

The gas shocks that lift the hood take a lot of the weight. That's probably what you're feeling.

yes. correct. same with the 350z. no point in getting CF if weight saving was your goal.

Looks like it! Or get the carbon roof panel a company in Japan offered (for the is250 or 350 I can't remember which or the company, I saw it back when i was trying to justify a 350 with the abundance of sard parts)
