Question for the NOS-er's
#18
I'm currently at the point of wiring up the Jms controller, I have the 08 electrical manual for my 08 and I found the diagram showing the "throttlebody" connector, I am kinda stumped as far as how this works vs a conventional throttlebody with a 3 wire tps switch.
I found this in the manual:
The wires are:
White -E2
GRN/YLW -VTA
Red- VC
L/B - VTA2
White- M+
Black- M-

It works exactly the same except you have redundant position sensors and control voltage instead of a wire. M+ and M- are control voltage, VTA and VTA2 are redundant throttle position, E2 is ground for VTA. VC is supply voltage.
Your wired setup would have VC, VTA, and E2 - power source, signal, ground.
Make sense now?

Here's the plumbing so far: I still need the intake bung, thread sealant, a relay and switch so everything is just loose installed, I also made some aluminum brackets to mount the controller on the bottom shelf inside the glove box since I'm going to route the wiring through the hole on the passenger side. The arming switch will be in the center console.
