Default Question for the NOS-er's

Ive been researching a lot on nos setups and deciding to take a plunge into a cool, new (to me) part of tuning. I can handle the install myself, just curious as to where people have tapped into the stock fuel location?
Also, according to Mrxslayx's teaser thread (pages 7-8) I should just punch out the 1st cats on the stock headers, Will this require O2 simulators? I have a joez exhaust so 2nd set are gone already. Thanks in advance for any help, I don't need second hand opinions just asking for a couple easy answers from the experienced folks here.

Just google je import performance or pm them the are a vendor. You also could just go buy a three way splitter that fuel line pops over and cut your factory line. They aren't much money

I have my kit, haven't installed it.

Someone mentioned using one of these, but I haven't even ordered mine, since I don't know which one I need.

Thanks, but I'd rather not rely on a hose clamp (on this car anyways), thanks again darbs

Hey darbs, are the end fittings for the chassis and engine connection a push lock type fitting? Im at work and can't go verify till later, they look like they are that type of fitting from your pic posted.

How much NOS are you planning to run? I run a 150 like darbs, but I have a dedicated fuel setup. I actually tapped into my windshield washer reservoir and run a holley fuel pump with C16. It is stealth and when I am running low on fuel for the NOS the windshield washer low light turns on. If you were to go this route you wouldn't need to tap into the stock lines.

just an FYI, you can't spray a shot of NOS for the fact that NOS is a brand "nitrous oxide systems". The correct term is nitrous. That misconception drives me nuts. Ive always went to the guys at nitrousoutlet.com, who are extremely knowledgeable. You can even have them plumb your lines.

Main thing to pay attention to is the Port Injection System. As long as you tap somewhere to get fuel from that system you should be perfectly fine. If you can copy Darbs' setup you would be doing yourself a solid. His setup is clean and proven over years of use.

I started moding the ISF very shortly after parts were first released along with some other veteran owners. made some changes in the intake system that didn't pan out. After seeing the factory intakes success in many members vehicles I switched back to a factory intake manifold and intake after years of running a ported IM & Injen intake.

I added a purge system and switched to a serious nitrous solenoid rather than using the one in the zex box. It was freezing up often. Still retained the zex wot and rpm controller. System is working well. Been on the car four years now. If I ever put another system on an IsF I would go Holley NOS products start to finish, use high end solenoids from day one. Get the auto bottle opener, gauge inside the car and purge. Bottle heater is a waste of money IMO after having two different ones. A bottle either has enough pressure or it doesn't.

Best way to make power with this car: headers, catback, nitrous and race gas (nitrous friendly stuff). Other than that leave the motor alone.

So I decided to order up a plethora of parts instead of buying a kit: Jms 6021 controller, nx lighting .187 gas solenoid, nx Lightning .125 n20 solenoid, zex blackout nozzle, zex jet pack for 82390(ford coyote 5.0), Russell -4 fuel line to solenoid, -4 n20 supply, -3 36" lines from solenoids to nozzle (I plan to mount the solenoids on the apron next to the Braille battery), nx solenoid brackets, nos bottle brackets, I wasn't sure if I should get a zex bottle opener or another brand (my friend sold me his old 10lb that was recently filled for cheap and wasn't sure if another brand is compatible?), zex gauge with -4 gauge fitting, as for my fuel line I'm waiting on fitting to arrive next week and I will basically be copying darbs line.
