I think what it really boils down to is car guys vs car buyers. I knew what an ISF was before Lexus even released it, because I have always been and always will be a car guy.
I dont know everything nor do I assume to, but I take the time to do the research and learn about what's out there.

What everybody needs to realize is that car manufacturers are businesses and businesses are for-profit entities. Yes, they get a trickle down effect from true F models, but (I'm guessing) they get even more by having a slightly sporty version of the regular model as witnessed in F Sport, M Sport, V Sport, S Line and Mercedes models that have AMG "after" the model designation...i.e. C450 AMG (of which I am a huge fan).
I completely agree that the F Sport is annoying, but if it possibly creates enough following for more future "real" F models, then I'm all for the fake Fs.

what we are all forgetting is that Lexus is trying to steal the F thunder and give it to the F sport guys for sales volume . They are doing it on purpose because its easier to sell a 46k F sport than 70k RCF or 66k ISF. If the customers and other drivers dont know the difference .....its even better for them. BMW does it, Benz does it, and so does Caddy .
I propose that we all intentionally look for and dust the F sport guys one at a time to teach them. These people need to be schooled and Lexus isnt going to do it.

Lexus did only minor changes to differentiate. The F-sport has a WHITE background on the F so you can see it apart from the real cars. If it has a white background on the F it's not real.
One thing I'm glad they didn't do is take the tacky route and slap the logo ALL OVER the car like BMW. I hate to spoil the ending, but the 2015 M3 has 67 M logos on the car!
