Default LED Front Turn Signals (VIDEO)

Finally installed my LED front turn signal bulbs after waiting three weeks for them to come in . The first set of LEDs I ordered were too long so I had to order some shorter ones that would fit in the headlights. The LEDs I installed are much brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs and also look a lot better when they are on. Not bad for $30. While I had the headlights off I also took out the goofy little halogen bulb that turns on in the high beam bowl when you have the headlights on. Also while I had the front bumper off I went ahead and ordered the OEM LED fog lights and installed them as well. Now the headlights and fog lights match .

Looks great!!
Was it a direct swap?
Usually the LEDs make it flash faster.

Yes the bulbs are a direct swap. You do have to install a LED flasher or resistors to prevent the fast blinking. I had already installed a LED flasher when I installed LED turn signals for the rear signals.

These are the LEDs I got for the front signals. You need 2 sets of them since the ISF's have two turn signal bulbs in each headlight.

The LED flasher is located up under the dash behind the steering wheel. If you lay on your back and look up by the pedals you will see a little blue box up under the dash. If you can't see it just turn your blinker on and find where the "blinker" noise is coming from. You need to unplug the OEM flasher and replace it with this one.

These look great, I'll probably have to consider this if i decide to bake my headlights. I was afraid coming in this thread to see white led turn signals.

Question

Wow! great mod. I will be doing this soon. Did you have to remove the front bumper to swap the bulbs out?

Don't quote we 100% but I do believe it is the same flasher.
