I'm not sure how I can explain this when ordering to where I can guarantee getting the correct ones.

Or, are the headlights that Sewell sends out mounted differently than those that actually come on the 2011-2014 ISFs (ie. the brackets are the same 2008-2014)?
That is the right part number for +2011 and up

The Sewell lights did not include the bumper clips, you modify your old ones

I know Sewell didn't include the brackets. The problem is the part number is the same that fits the old lights also. My old brackets, which I modified, flex downwards a little bit on the side that doesn't attach to the lights since the screw doesn't line up and it seems this is what is creating the gap.

I'd like to get the brackets that are actually made to fit the 2011+ lights rather than trying to work with my old ones or modifying a new set. I don't want to go through the trouble of removing the bumper and lights again without being pretty sure what I am doing will fix the problem and the proper brackets seems to be the best solution.

I don't understand how the bracket can be the same for all years unless the lights that are on the 2011+ cars are different than the lights Sewell provided and actually mount properly to the old brackets.

Hmmm thats weird thats the part i ordered as well the other side is 5211653042 and thats what it says on Lexussouthernatlanta parts too so maybe you just have to modify it which doesn't make sense because alot of people dont have that problem i might just try and ordering it again il check with my local dealership first and if not il do it some other time hopefully this week and il post pictures up

Any updates with this? I find the gap so annoying.

I'm still sort of trying to find new brackets. It seems like those that fit the 2008-2010 lights are what you get no matter what year IS-F you are ordering for. If I can't find them I'll work with my old ones that are on the car now and find a way to prevent them from flexing as much as they do.

I had this issue after the retrofit

I've tweaked it to a point where it doesn't bother me

Getting the actual brackets that go with the lights helped a bit. I got the best results tweaking the 3 bolts that hold the light in place. There is a little play on how the light is positioned.

Yeah I think it would help if the lights were positioned a tiny bit lower. I really don't want to remove and refit the front bumper over and over again though weakening the tabs.

just for clarification.
the new bracket is an updated part
it has multiple mounting holes drilled in to it so it fits the lights before the updated led lights
so it works on both headlamps now.

Thanks. I actually ordered a set from Sewell before they closed the online store and still somehow got the old version - even though I described exactly what I needed. Luckily no problems returning them though. This info will be helpful in getting the right brackets
