So i just purchased my ISF a few weeks ago and damn do they eat gas. my commute is mostly highway so i ive got my MPG up to 15 on the dash meter. But i feel like it hasn't made that much off a difference and this is while driving regularly (no sport/snow). Correct me if im wrong but i somewhat feel that i get better gas mileage in sport mode.

What have you guys experienced? between sport, snow and regular.

Don't pay attention to that current MPG dash meter. If you're worried about MPG it is just going to make you upset. For highway mileage I don't think any of the modes will make much of a difference. Adjusting your driving habits is your best bet - accelerating at a slow steady space, cruising at a reasonable speed, and using the brakes lightly...all difficult to do in this car.

Road tripped to WI on business last summer and drove my F irresponsibly - meaning like a Camry to test gas mileage. Sport mode on, I hit 29mpg. I wanted to hit 30 and pic it, but the anti-citizen in me kicked back in and I chose to enjoy the rest of the trip. Gas mileage decreased thereafter.

Let's keep in mind you're driving something faster than 95% of the cars on road. Achieving what I mentioned above is an example of a wonderful transmission and quite honestly, ridiculously glorious engineering throughout.

I think while on the move sport won't make a difference with consistent driving habits.

my commute is 60 miles round trip per day, all highway, dont get me wrong i WOT every soo often but 85% of the time im babying the car. And im fillling my car up every 3rd day or so. is that normal?

I average around 20 in normal mode mostly local driving

Coasting on freeway gets to about 28-29

Running on stock tires and wheels. I noticed my mpg drop by 2 mpg after I switched to borla.... I don't think a catback can hurt mpg in theory maybe my ECU is still learning the new exhaust ....

Any mods on your car at the moment? I know some intakes can reduce MPG (the Takeda I had reduced mine by 2-3 MPG).

If not, I would question the 15 you are currently getting. Mine is normally around 23-26.

just installed HPS tube and afe drop in yesterday. besides car is stock.

Yeah unless you are hammering on it constantly something is up.

Heck my 22 is in the winter with winter tires. Should be even better when it warms up.

I'm driving on SoCal freeway traffic which for me is good 75% of the time and heavy 25% of the time. Going easy on the throttle/braking, I've averaged 22 mpg for the first month of driving the car daily.

i mean maybe i am hammering it more than i think i am. i am giving alot of my friends rides. but my commute 5 days a week i drive it like a baby. i just know it would take alot of driving without hammering it to get my dash to read 20 mpg. my tank avg is 16 right now. 240miles to empty when topped off.

I drive about 20 miles more than you with about the same habits isflamez, I average 20mpg (approximately 340 miles per tank). My car has a takeda intake and pts exhaust, 19" Volks gt7's, figs rotors. Oh I also removed the spare tire/jack next is a lightweight battery and more carbon parts.
