Another great meet with the fellas and ladies. It was a treat to reconnect with some familiar faces and get to know some of the newer ones. Despite some attention from the law enforcement, it ended up being better than anticipated. Much thanks to everyone who supplied food and beverages for this occasion, the first of many this year. A special thank you to the ladies that were in attendance, primarily for having the patience and humor to deal with our beloved dictator, Kody. All kidding aside, it was a great gathering of the SoCal IS F family.
I know we briefly discussed what to do for the next meet. As always, if there are any comments or criticisms of this meet, please voice them. This way, we can make future meets even better for everyone involved. I know we had a few moments where some of our group got caught behind red lights or separated en route to a destination, but overall I think everything was handled well and having some contacts to call/text really made it less strenuous to figure out where we all could reconvene.
Enough chit chat...here are some of the pics I took of our get together this fine, very hot day. It was a good way to end winter...

A reverse Oreo?
Pat getting his illegal parking on, while the rest of the IS F guys determine if it was really the best idea for Kody to position the cars...

Only problem we encountered was getting separated.. Somehow have to manage for that to not happen!

Jeff and i considered it, but we would need a few more members to have them readily on hand, or else we'd run into a similar issue as today.

Absolutely right! I was thinking two-way radios. Calling/texting wouldn't be ideal given how much heat we had on us just trying to stay under the radar. Even having a few contact numbers didn't help out due to lack of cell reception in certain areas. I'm more than certain we'll be corresponding via radio at least to keep everyone aware if anyone is left behind or lost.
