If you haven't already, you may also want to look at upgrading the bushings on the differential in order to minimize potential wheel hop from the new LSD:

The axle seals must be replaced, the bearings are not required if you have the proper low clearance carrier bearing removal tool. Its a caged needle bearing and just needs to be supported when removing. Cost for seals is around $35, you will also need a seal driver to re-install them.

Im waiting on my bearings and seals still however the C clips on the diff are giving me some troubles. Awaiting proper tools for removal at this stage now.
