Default 2008 is-f price with 6500 miles

Hi guys, found an f with just 6500 miles. immaculate condition. What do you think price wise is reasonable. I know its an f, but car is 7 years old but with very little miles on it. any thoughts? car has always been garaged, never seen rain or snow according to the owner, it even still has the original battery and owner states that while in the garage has always had the trickle charger on it. Any major differences between an 09, 10? I think in 11 has the new rear end and susp, but other than that a 14 is pretty much the same as an 08? since this is practically a new car. thoughts??

I'd be interested to see what this guy wants for this F?? I've started my search for one and it'll be interesting to see what I eventually end up with?

I'd tend to agree with darbs242. Not sure if this helps or not but almost exactly one year ago I picked up my '08 with just over 15k on the clock and it's history sounded very similar...one owner, garage kept, all maintenance accounted for and performed by the dealer, and the car was eventually traded back to the dealer it was bought from & serviced by. Definitely mint condition and one of those rare finds for sure. Ended up costing me about $42k OTD but that was from a dealer and again about a year ago and before the RC's were released as well as rumors about the end-of-life of our rides. Again, not sure if that helps entirely but perhaps it'll help ballpark it for ya. Good luck and congrats if you take her home - sounds like a winner

Picked mine up for $36k a few months ago... 09 w/ 32k miles... Same thing, 1st owner, garage kept, all maintenance done at Lexus.. Carfax even said that it was worth $1k over suggested retail price! Trade in value was listed at $38k, couldn't pass up the deal. I'd say you would be looking around same price..

Picked up my CPO 2008 with 30000 miles in July for just over $38,000. It is in excellent condition with a clear bra installed.

You're going to pay a premium for such low miles. I'd rather get a newer car(11+) in equal excellent condition with 25-35k miles, personally.

Seems like the numbers are consistant more with mileage than time affecting price.. I picked up my 08 in DEC 09 with 12K for $42K (impeccable and zero damage) one owner from Joe Meyers toyota..so that shows the great value held by these vehicles over time more affected by mileage than age... I just happened to find a deal to at the time

I would stay away. Who knows how long it sat without being driven. That is the worst thing you can do to a car.

I would opt for a +2010 ISF with not so low miles. ISFs are not like IS250/350s, in that most owners knew they were buying something special and kept extra great care for them. Considering youre new to ISFs, you might not know the 08-09 do not have a real LSD like the later models. Also the 08s have a much harsher suspension and ride. The NAVs, gauge cluster, as well as some options are much better on the later models.

I picked my 2008 with a little less than 15k miles for $28k last November. Just putting that put there.

I picked up my 2010 a year ago with 21k miles for 42K. I guess I got a good deal

2008 CPO purchased in May 2014 with 39K miles and a !98! Experian autoscore. A few rock chips on the hood, but otherwise mint. Paid 37K in Illinois where they're harder to find and I believe more expensive.

Some good points in this thread. Seems like it has possibly spent too much of its life "not driven." 40K miles seems to be a sweet spot for all years of this car - I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd opt for a higher mileage car. Just my thoughts.
