With the weight of the oem vs seibon and reliability of oem I chose to stay oem and do vents..I'm thinking on placing them about the width of the engine cover so any water will drop off the sides of that.

Probably the closest thing to a trd hood with the bmc vents, here is a pic of the wide version of another brand, they are considerably shorter in length too.
