Default DCT wheel installed [PICS] !

Just swapped out the stock F wheel for the new carbon fiber DCT...totally easy, a 30-minute job. The wheel looks awesome installed.

Here's a pic of the stock wheel and the DCT wheel side by side. The DCT is slightly thicker in all areas except for the thinnest part by the paddle grips- but it's also a completely different grip design than the stock one. It's very comfortable and very easy to shift the paddles with it:

And here are a few photos after the install. Again, really nice quality, especially for the price:

Looking good! Any chance you can take a pic of the stock wheel with the DCT wheel next to each other from the side view?

Now I'm intrigued, If it is indeed thicker than the 11+ F wheel, they definitely changed their design from a year ago when I had this wheel.

Looks good!

I'm just not sure it's thick enough!! Coming from a BMW with an m-sport wheel the ISF wheel is literally the only thing that I feel doesn't match the cars character. The DCM is better but not sure I'll be happy with it.

Congrats though, glad your pleased with it!

Nice looking wheel. Very ergonomic and the flat bottom is definitely a nice touch.

I just got one with the white carbon top, it's a huge improvement over OEM. I had my local tuner shop instal mine and they thought it was an OEM upgrade the quality was so good. After coming from an X5M the ISF steering wheel felt thin and wimpy this one is way nicer it has a beefy feeling

Sylvan, so you think the DCT wheel is comparable to a BMW wheel? I just came from a '13 328 m-sport so I am looking for an upgrade. The isf wheel as you said it wimpy and it's very slippery compared to my BMW wheel. Let me know your thoughts on the comparisons.

Much appreciated!!
