Sound wise, it is definitely a melody to the ears. But the price point is so high. I know a few IS F guys who have Novel headers here in the states, and the craftsmanship is undeniably there. Along with this, there have been some reports from those who have gone to the dyno that the numbers are no different than that of Sikky or PPE headers, which cost 1/3 of what Novel sells its headers for. One is for sale in the classifieds right now by LOLM3.

If the numbers are no different than the PPE or Silky headers than what would justify the monstrous price of these suckers? Maybe just the sound and that they're equal length

Exclusivity and equal length. Novel's name is becoming more and more prevalent to the F marquee, especially now that it has undergone testing for RC F parts. But for the IS F, it is not a mass-produced item, so there isn't a large market for something like this. The sound is incredible, but I wouldn't be able to justify the price point.

No doubt a beautiful sound! That's the thing with headers, equal length does not always matter. It depends a lot on the engine and the timing and cycle of combustion. You can often be 6-8" or more off in runner length and have zero effect on performance which is why the Sikky headers and other brands make similar power with 1/3rd the cost. I know when Sikky developed theirs they considered equal length, but ease of installation and cost out weighed equal length and power was not effected. In my opinion all the tight radius' on these Novel headers are actually hurting the header more than the equal length is helping. On many of these runners the tubing bends back on itself more than 180 deg. I know they had to do that to get the equal length design to even work but it's clear based on the dyno numbers it was all for nothing other than the awesome sounds they make.

for the money you could get a set of wheels and a Borla exhaust. If exclusivity was your thing I'd say go for it, but if you want exclusive parts that cost that much we might be driving the wrong car

I agree with you guys about the price point and the lack of return for this type of $$, they do sound nice though!
