So I was searching ebay and I came across this item 161569641639

For $35 shipped is a Toyota OEM 5000k D4S hid bulb made for our cars ...by Philips

Does anyone have experience with this item? I know oem is always 4300k. Is this real or counterfeit

I bought mine from Amazon for close to the same money. Genuine Philips, with the exact same part number as the bulbs I removed.

I am hoping to find a whiter bulb to match the color of the 2011 DRL... So if this is legit 5000k it might work....the oem ones I have tend to be a bit yellow vs the DRL

These are not 5000K. They are 4300K. You'll need to do a little more homework if you want a 5000K bulb. I have not researched them.

Just poked around a bit. There are no Lexus bulbs at 5000K. They are considerably more expensive and available from a host of vendors on the Internet.

Yes, I do. There are no 5000K OEM Lexus bulbs.
