What impressed me about the PSS in the tireracj reviews is how it beats the RE11 overall and is technically in the lower performance category. Says a lot about the PSS. I am interested in the RE11 because when you look at reviews its clearly a tire prefered by many who do DE events like we do. I wish the R888 came in stock sizes. I hated the way my car felt with wider tires on the oem wheels. After seeing my car run with a 911 evenly with 75% worn PSS I know Lexus still did a good job. Its really odd the way you can have traction issues on the street but on the track it all just works, especially when there is some heat in the tires

No rubbing whatsoever, and I'm even lowered about a 1/2 inch in the front and back. Get the 285s man!

Where in TX are you?
Are you running the PSS ZP run flats? They don't manufacture the 285's in the PSS?

Stumbled across Pirelli P Zero Nero GT's on tire rack for an amazing price.

I can't find much info on them here..but they did pretty well on tire rack's review, essentially beating the Bridgestone Potenza S04 Pole Position in almost every measurable category (in the dry).

If you are doing HPDEs they're a great choice. Predictable, wear like iron, and let you use what the F delivers at a not too bad price.

I actually have a used set I need to post in the classifieds - now that I have wider wheels, I've also got wider tires...

Excellent...my CPO F came with a brand new set, wanted to see what the verdict was before I head to the track on them in a few weeks.

Got it! I thought everyone was referring to a 30 series aspect ratio. I see you are running a 285/35. Big tire!
