Totally agree darbs. Mine is strong as hell. American cars are cheap for a reason. Nobody gives anything away . You either pay in the sticker price or you pay in repairs. I dont have time for repairs
This logic doesn't apply to German cars.
You pay the sticker price AND you get raped in repairs also.. LOL.
Don't get me wrong I love them too especially the turbo , gt2,gt3 stuff , but when you read about the recent engine problem with new gt3 and videos like above kinda makes you think twice about future ownership of the Porsche brand , but I guess if you have deep pockets who cares what you buy .
Also like to add I've read few buying guides on the 997 hit and miss you're better off with the 997.2
Look up ims bearing failure there was even a class action lawsuit on this. No car is perfect but some just won't leave you stranded and with empty pockets if you're past warranty just saying. If you change cars before warranty is up then good news for the 997 owner.
And let's stop picking on German made cars
