Lol no GTR for me. Will get a fun porsche convertible to gut it out plus chop the windshield off to create a fun light weight canyon carver in maybe 3-4 years though.

Exactly.

Anyone who buys a part assuming it'll fail in the future might as well buy another ISF as a backup just in case their ISF breaks.. lol

brb going to buy a new tire in case mine goes flat in the next couple months.

When I go look it up through one of the websites I use to find parts, part numbers, diagrams etc. It shows the transmission to be $3,634.47 MSRP for an 08.

(not sure it will work but here is the link)
http://www.trademotion.com/parts/200...t=TRANSMISSION

Hmmm strange, Sewell Lexus Parts lists the transmission for $12,600+.

LOL, Sure if I find a brand new IS-F for 90 percent off MSRP, I'll buy 3 as spares.

Do you have a link or part #? The only thing I found on Sewell didn't have a price, it said to call

** EDIT**

The price doesn't show up on sewells site under the 08 isf, it does through 09-11. Once in checkout with the CL discount applied the total comes to $7773. That's close to a $5k discount from the $12,600 "in store price" which makes me wonder how much the $7773 is marked up.

Make an account on their site. I think it asks you where you heard about the site, say clublexus. When you add a part to cart it will show a discounted price

Haha, Will be one expensive custom coffee table until I really need the transmission. Planning on keeping this as my daily for a long time so it might come in handy. Will keep the F even when I get the Porsche

I would like to know if this is for real. where did he get 4 ISF trannys? kinda weird to me. then he accepts $900 as if $1000 wasn't low enough. someone offer him $700 and see if he accepts it.

If you look at all of his auctions. He stated that he got them from Toyota excess inventory clearing. He must have bought them all in one bulk sale and sorted out what he got. They are all still in crates and bolted/tied down. He already has a few positive feedbacks on brand new Toyota transmissions if you looked up his feedback score.
