No mods planned, I can't image what I would want to mod on this car (famous last words, I know)...I have a track day coming up at the end of Feb, I really want to try it bone stock before I even consider anything. It's got new brakes and rubber and all new fluids, so I'm fairly set- just change out the brake fluid to something for the track, probably.
One question, does anyone know why they only came with alcantara and no full leather as an option? I'm guessing better grip in the seat when you're on the track?
I'm actually looking forward to my commute this morning, I can't wait!!!

I believe the Alcantra was a facelift option for US models only?
My 08 UK SGM has full black leather seats fitted, and most facelift cars seem to have full leather here as well?
Should help keep you planted on the track though as you suggested.
Just watch your temperature gauges, especially engine oil temp.
All depends on the track your doing, and how long you'll be lapping. I'd personally recommend a cool down lap every third lap, and get the hood open when your back in the pits to help let the heat out.
Not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs, but caution is never a bad thing when you're working your pride and joy hard.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers.
Peter

2 weeks in my garage, 1 week+ in the shop...boo.
Not a big deal, but I noticed that the backup camera would intermittently not work. Service concluded it was a problem with the entire nav touch screen unit. Brought it in last Tuesday, part was delayed, coming in next Tuesday.
Bah humbug (but thank god for CPO)!
