Slight Variations in JoeZ Exhaust
Ok now this might sound like a stupid question but I was looking at my JoeZ exhaust (which will hopefully be installed in a few days time) and comparing it to some pictures from the forum.
I found there seems to be two different versions, mainly in the bars between the pipes (the 3 red circles in the pictures below). Mine don't have them and in the forum some have them and some don't.
So whats the difference?
I took these pictures from one of the threads so sorry if I copied someone's pics for reference, hope you don't mind.

Pole Position
just got my joe z recently and i don't think i had those bars either
what really annoyed me was they stopped polishing the axle back section, that would have looked awesome hanging under the back of the car.

Yes, Performance Tube Systems eliminated some of the bracing bars to ease with small variances or flexing during installation.
And yes starting end of 2014, all system piping will be Brushed Satin 304 SS…
(It will never be raw unfished piping.)
Where as in the past we were polishing just the rear sections only..
The Muffler Cans will still remain Mirror Polished 304 SS
Small changes during the course of 7 years...

P.S. - Pics in post ONE are of the first prodcution unit we made..!!

Bummer!
I was getting ready to head to Carson next week to pick one of these up. That polished rear section definitely looks pretty, even if you only see it when it is on the hoist.
However, the removal of the bracing is more concerning to me. In the long term, will this not place more stress on the tubing (due to added flex during normal operation) particularly near the welds at the flanges?

Nothing to be concerned about at all.. The TIG welding at the Flanges is bullet proof..

Had mine 5 years now and have put it threw rigorous testing. Its hands down one of the best systems available to us. Props to MR. Z Honestly i dont know anyone that would care about the rear polishing... after a couple years there not pretty anymore.

Don't get me started with the Joe Z exhaust and no exhaust tips. lol!
I absolutely love my Joe Z exhaust and it is a real high quality exhaust and I've had them all for all my various cars throughout the years. This is quite possibly the best quality exhaust I've had the pleasure of owning. Can't say enough good things about it.
