CEL issue
Hi. Friend bought used ISF with headers (sikky or ppe) not sure, and now has CEL light. He seapoed both o2 sensors with no avail. Could it be that the conditioner that comes with either went bad? Can i buy it Separately? Thanks

Get codes. But if its PPE, then check the O2 extension wires. Could have melted high up near the headers. The code will tell you which side. Call Paul at PPE for help. He is very helpful.

Yes, that's the AFR sensor. completely unrelated to the conditioners regardless of the brand of headers used. Sounds like either just a bad sensor or a wire issue that was mentioned above. If you just put new sensors in then most likely the wires. Not really much it can be from my experience.

CEL with aftermarket headers ??? Thats odd. lol
Hope you get it sorted OP. There are many people on the forum with the same issue . Im sure someone will chime in. Have you tried googling the code to see what turns up?? Do you know if the person who sold you the car ever had the same codes repeatedly ?
