I'm disappointed already. I really gave them the benefit of the doubt that the GS F engine would make at least 500hp & at least surpass those same torque values! From the RC F and IS F. I'm very loyal to Lexus and I do try and get they go for the details and refinement, but I mean come on, get with the program!

I spoke with a sales mgr at my Lexus dealer a couple weeks ago and she said the GSF would have the RCF engine with more power. I was hoping it would surpass 500 by a good amount....either way, maybe there's something in the works that'll compete with the big boys.

the only 2 cars I can think of in the last 5 years that has gotten lighter with the next gen ( outside exotics, and they gain weight too) would be the 370Z from the 350Z, and the new Range Rover. I know some of the big pick ups are getting lighter as well but thats only because they were using heavier steel rather than aluminum. Generally every gen gets heavier and heavier. This is why carbon fiber development and price reduction is so exciting .

2UR-GSE = same engine(even if it is tweaked to 467). Similar to how the underpowered JDM 2JZ-GTE is still just as stout as the USDM 2JZ-GTE. The engine is not that astronomically different.
Just to add. To me, I really don't think the RC-F has 467hp...with 50+ more hp the trap speeds in the quarter should be higher and not identical to the ISF. The RC-F weights more but has better power to weight ratio than the ISF, so how are the trap speeds the same? But I'll wait until someone actually posts their dyno sheet for the RC-F(which for some reason people seem to scared to post right now).

Approx 390 to the wheels for an RC F.. Goes right in line with the average 17 to 18% loss for the IS F.. Which is approx 350 to the wheels

So its safe to say the 2016 GS F will also put down approx 390 to the wheels..

Here is a solid pass for a Bone stock RC F..

Touche to that video. So heres a stock ISF with a good driver. Not that far behind[in numbers].

I like the look of the GSF. I like the wheels and the fact the wheels are 19x9 & 19x10. That means you could keep the stock wheels and mount some decently wide tires to handle the weight through corners.

I don't like the 4000+ lb curb weight, but then again...look at the curb weight of the M5, E63 & S6...They are all nearly 4400 lbs. The GSF will be slower than the BMW and Merc, but should be much more reliable down the road. It should also be much less expensive when optioned up.
