Default What is the most quiet aftermarket exhaust?

I've heard straight pipes and Borla, both were too loud. Is there anything that will provide hp gains and sound nearly stock?

If Borla is too loud for u then ur out of luck as far as an exhaust goes. If I were u I would add PPE or Sikky headers but keep ur exhaust stock. Car won't be too loud but will have nice gains in power.

The most quiet aftermarket exhaust is the new PPE Dual Mode System with the Vacuum Valve closed.

Why get an exhaust if you want to be quiet!! Haha, like stated, if you want power & quiet, headers with cats are the way to go.

I'm a noob, so take my opinion with a grain of salt...

From my searching the Borla system is the quietest and has the least amount of drone. That's the route I'm planning on going for those reasons.

I've not heard the headers+stock option. That's an interesting thought.

I never even considered this, but sounds great if you can get the same gains but with less noise. I drive with my windows down all the time and when I cruise around the stock system isnt bad at all and actually has a little drone as it is.

Please post the clip. Very curious

You may want to read this post by PPE Headers.

Our conditioner is a more advanced solution to the old simulator design.

It will be wife approved too (I hope) as we are taking the F 1500 miles back and forth to Delaware. Getting JE to install the sikky headers when we stop in Baltimore for the day on Thursday. 750 miles home should put the wife-o-meter on full alert for too much noise!
