Default WOT+TRC ON= decreased HP? WOT+TRC OFF=416BHP?

just wondering if anyone knows if we are still getting 416BHP with WOT+TRC ON....

how many of you dive your F on sports mode+trc off on a daily basis?
i drove the car yesterday on sports+TRC OFF for the first time, and i finally felt what i was looking for...felt like a sports car with 4 doors, it was like driving a beast, but i was wondering if its ok to drive it like this on a daily basis,i dont mean driving it at WOT on every block, but just to have the power ready anytime you need it (specially when overtaking on the freeway)

If the traction isn't there, then trac and vsc will slow your rate of acceleration.
It doesn't decrease engine HP output, it will cut your throttle input.

It is OK to drive that way, but not in winter or in wet conditions I'd say. Driving w/ trac/stability off one time I punched it around a turn (given it was a steep turn) and ended up spinning around. Very embarrassing but I learned my lesson! Car def feels faster with all the nannies off + Sport + M mode.

i haven't tried it off, but when it was ON i almost lost control. I would only do it on safe road.

Trac/Vsc off disables all your safety stability systems. Which truly gives that feeling of "unleashing the beast" it's funny because if I'm not mistaken with the RC F this setting is named, Expert now. When I attended the RCF From the Asphalt Up event in west palm beach. A driver decided to disable this very same settings. He ended up spinning out and slammed into the wall, destroying the vehicle. Be careful out on the open streets, that immediate rush of power to the rear wheels is unpredictable to tame at times. Either way, Trac/VSC on is always your friend!

TRUTH...!!!

Sadly I saw that same exact Black RC F, once it got back to SoCal...

To the OP, the HP is measured at the FLYWHEEL..

Honestly.. If you have no reason to Turn it OFF, then leave it ON..

Here is a prime example of an M4 - getting air born this past weekend..!!
(more than likely turned off all the traction control settings)

Going Viral already..

I'm just wondering on the effects on the transmission for sport mode all the time. Is it harder on the transmission keeping the torque converter locked all the time shifting through traffic like that?

With these 255 rears it would be pretty stupid to push the car hard with the TCS off unless you are Tanner Foust

I'm also worried about the wear and tear,is the isf built to take this kind of beating? Im not saying driving it hard to redline all the time,im not sure if the engineers who designed and invented the transmission tried and tested this type of beating...
What will be the downside of driving our Fs in sport mode all the time?

I had 255 rears at my first track day and I turned off everything and she handled it like a beast. When I upgraded to 275's in the rear with 10in wheels she felt better than before. It's all about the skill of the driver.

The Audi Club I have track days with has a mandatory skid course for GREEN students. You actually have to pass that part or you can't move up to the next group. It teaches good car control. Something that is essential when tracking the car...and hell even on the street.

Personally I'd say keep trc on unless you know how to handle this car well.

With all the sand around here I've spun out once before with it off, too unpredictable for me out on public roads and all that damn sand everywhere.
