What would you do?
I have a decision to make. White/Red or Nebula Gray/Red interior 2015 IS 350 F sport RWD for $46,000 or Obsidian 2012 IS F with 28,000 miles for roughly $43,000?

It really comes down to your budget and personal desires. I would go for the 2012 ISF 10 out of 10 times, but many people don't really use the ISF's capabilities...If you need/really want the extra acceleration & handling then go for the ISF...if you don't the the "F light" is fine.

You're asking the wrong crowd, most in here will say ISF...Again, I would take the ISF....seem like you're trying to see what you can get rather than what you really want to get! Newer 350 is still not in the same league as an ISF....the question should be M3, C63 or ISF.....not sure if I'm making sense but $43k for a 2012 ISF is a pretty good deal!

Performance- go with the F. Newer technology and a more modern looking interior- IS350 F sport. Overall drivability and satisfaction- that is for the OP to decide from test driving. Both will be great cars to have, but some want the power of the F, while others prefer a sporty look and feel but might not need the HP bump. I myself will still choose the IS F, not because of power or the V8, but rather the rarity in comparison to the greater-produced 3IS F sport.

I was faced with the exact same decision in Jan of this year. My search for an F had been going on for a while (I wanted exactly the car that I got) and I had basically given up and was looking for local dealerships in my area to see in person and test drive one of the new IS350 F-Sports. While it wasn't what I WANTED it was still a great car and would've served it's purpose while the search continued. It was a Sunday evening when I located my closest dealer so upon getting their info I decided to search their Certified Pre-Owned Inventory and to my surprise I struck GOLD!!!! hahaha. Not only did they have my car, the car I had been searching for for so long (an extremely low mileage '08 USB), but they also had a '13 USB F with about 15-20k more on the clock. I couldn't believe it!!! Because it was so late I had to wait until the next day to call them but I did almost as soon as they opened haha. Made an appointment to go see/test drive that afternoon and that was all she wrote 
The deal was pretty much done before I even walked in to test drive and to be honest, at that point I didn't even bother looking at the newer 350 F-Sport. But...that's me and from what it sounds like most of the other members on here. You've gotta ask yourself what makes the most sense for you, how you intend to use it and determine what meets all your wants/needs. I honestly think you'll be pleased either way as long as you can honestly answer those questions for yourself. Just my .02
Oh forgot one more part to my story, a few weeks later when I went back to pickup my tags I was told that a week prior a guy came in from FL looking to buy the F I got but obviously with it being gone he picked up the '13 and drove it back to FL. Have always wondered if he's a member on here.?.?.? Anyway, moral of the story is...if it's that good of a deal and something your considering don't sleep on it bc somebody else might beat you to it

I've driven the 250 (which is obviously not as powerful), but once the new car smell fades and the values start dropping, at the end of the day you're likely going to maintain better value and better bang for the buck in the used ISF. Just look at used prices for the 250/350. I have seen the used is250 f sport in the 25-27k range and the IS350 F sport in the 31-33k range for 2014's!!!! The CHEAPEST 08 ISF I've ever seen was like 24k for a salvage title one, or 29k for one with over 100k miles, and that's for an 08.
But ultimately, get what you like and can see yourself enjoying more.

You should also consider the cost from a high performance vehicle, compared to the fairly moderate 3.5L F Sport. Such as but not limited to tires, brakes, and gas. I recall a member posting recently he was considering getting rid of the F because he couldn't keep up with the expenses. If your finances are in place then the F is a no brainer. I personally started from an IS250, IS350, & now F. I can personally tell you the F is simply in a different league. I have great pride in its exclusivity & presence! Needless to say I always have a "14 F Sport trying to chase me down on the highway and it simply cannot keep up...hahaha.
