Fuel smell '08 ISF

I pulled the engine cover off, ran the car in my garage, and checked / smelled for any fuel leaks. I didn't see or smell anything. I checked around the fuel rail and injector areas and no leaks or signs of fuel leaking there ever. Then Road tested and was unable to replicate the fuel smell. Drove it to work, checked again, unable to see or smell any fuel.
It's winter here and the car goes through pretty big temperature swings between my garage, and outside of work. Also this tank of fuel was an ethanol blend 94.. Is usually run zero-ethanol 91.. Not sure if that may be a factor in a intermittent issue such as this

spoke to a fellow CL member today who told me the dealership said there is no fuel rail recall. Wether there is a fix or they are working on something its ridiculous that these SA's dont know the fundamental national campaign being run by Lexus. If we know they should have known long ago

Does anyone have any more info on the location of these parts specified in the recall? It says "pressure sensor" and "fuel delivery pipe". Are we talking fuel pressure sensor on the injector fuel rail? Or is this referring to a pressure sensor in the fuel delivery system, say closer to the fuel tank, or around the fuel pump?
I would like to diagnose this myself before wasting time and money at the dealer.

RE Fuel Smell Recall
The recall letter from Lexus said it was a information letter as they don't have a resolve for the fuel pressure regulator gasket yet - they will be sending you another letter once a fix has been figured out - they do say to call Lexus if you do have the fuel smell now !

Replace the sparkplugs!
Just did mine 3.5-4.0 hrs the 1st time 80,190 miles. Make sure you have the right tools; off set socket or wrench! Also take your time and take off everything or move everything around the sparkplugs and it easier to do. Make sure you are using the OEM plugs. Yes $15 a plug but you will feel the deference.

Thanks for posting that. A fellow club Lexus member sent me a copy of that letter a few days ago.
I've driven the car for a few days now and have been monitoring it closely.. Unable to replicate any fuel smell, or visually see any fuel leaks.
Since I can't replicate the problem, and there are no visual signs, I doubt the dealer would do anything for me (except take my money) at this point. I'm going to wait until the remedy is available and I'll take my car in then.
