I wonder how you can stand the heat in AR with all black out car. I heard the heat over there is ridiculously high that melts CDs inside the car.
I haven't noticed any issue with light output reduction to be honest. As for he heat in AZ, yea man its hot here but I have limo tint all around and that reduces interior heat quite a bit and I also have covered parking at work so its not too bad. Now if you touch the car or the seatbelt buckle, expect to get burned haha. I haven't heard of CDs melting, I've even left my macbook air in the car during summer and it hasn't ruined it yet.

It should not affect light output at all. Unlike reflective headlights, the projector projects light from, well, the projector and the projector is untouched internally.
