Default How is this STILL possible...

1. Park the car at a parking lot (mall, some neighborhood, anywhere)
2. Get out of the car
3. Start walking away
4. Glance back at the car; mental drooling ensues

Mind you, I've had the F for 1.5 years already but it feels like I got the car just yesterday. Every time I park the car and walk away, I have to take a look at the car. Quite inevitable.

Any of you on the same boat as me? Or am I the only weirdo here?

Because it's the perfect blend of power + luxury + robust design + uniqueness. It might not be the fastest car out there. It might not appeal to everyone. But in the end, it's the car we chose. Personally, seven years of owning this beast, it is still a rewarding feeling knowing what I have when I start her up.

But yeah, Kevin, you're a weirdo!

Same thing here!

I actually commute to work by train every day, so don't use the ISF that often (just as well with petrol prices over here! Lol). Every morning and every night I check on the car!

I'll just stand there and admire the lines, the muscular bonnet bulge, the vented front arches......

It's also a chance to make sure there are no bird droppings or crud on it!

Can't wait till 6th January though. That's when we should be moving in to the new house with double garage and workshop!

Then I'll be able to sneak into the garage for my fix whatever the weather! Lol.

They are lovely cars (hate leaving mine anywhere, apart from home).

haha I told a friend, who ended up buying a 14 250 F Sport "When you park your car, if you don't look back at it every single time you walk away, you bought the wrong car."

I do the same thing. I always try to rationalize it though. I like to think im looking back to see if I parked straight, or I might squint my eyes thinking im looking for something when im just admiring her beauty. I was telling some co-workers the other day that I just want to "Be" with my car. I know that's border line weird, but its true. Ive only had mine for less than two weeks.

Yup.

I find myself doing it every time I get out.

Think we're all pretty much in the same boat.

When I take my Supra out on the weekends I always find myself glancing back at her as I walk away or excited to see her every time I walk back towards her.

Owned her for 4 years so far.

Absolutely - think it's part of something that comes along with finally owning something you've been lusting after for so long haha. Almost as though you either 1) can't believe it's finally real & yours and/or 2) ownership aside you still appreciate the look of a sexy-a$$ vehicle...ownership just has its perks/privileges

I get to work park way in the back alone, and i park the car crooked as possible.

Get out and hit the alarm multiple times mostly cause I want to keep looking at it. THe stance is so mean

This explains the high resale value, the continued drool factor.

I still do the same thing and its been almost a year. And when I approach after work and I stare at it , the car makes all the BS and annoying stuff during the day just melt away.

Then that sweet induction growl makes me smile on the way home

Got my F last March. I too give it a glance as I walk away. At this point it's instinctive, I do it with out thinking about it. Even as I take the trash out every week, I give it a pat on the butt.

I think my favorite part of car forums is that everyone is just as obsessed with there car as I am if not more. Makes me feel a lot better it's like a support group.
The other day my fiancé took my keys to work with her on accident and I ended up having to get a ride to work (3 miles from home) and all day I felt weird because my car wasn't with me.
