Kind of a BSm article when the writer doesnt give any objective info at all. Its all subjective. Granted the RCF better be faster, but how much. Pretty sure it didnt " destroy " the ISF. The RCF is an evolution , not a revolution.

The article is an amateur review and that's my issue with it. NOT to say he's wrong, but the ISF seats are NEVER a down-point in any other professional reviews. everyone loves them that I've seen. Again, I hope they did get even better in the RC-F but the ISF does NOT have you sliding into the door (maybe he tested an IS350?).
The IS-F seats are nicely bolstered and they hold me in like glue. In fact sometimes I think they hold me in too well, its quite difficult to shuffle my butt around. I have friends who own cars with aggressive seats, EVO's, STI's, M3s and modded race cars with Recaros and Corbeau seats. When they get into the IS-F, the first thing they always comment on are how great the seats feel and how well they hold you. Keep in mind my IS-F has the alcantara/leather combo.

QFT. The whole RC-F subforum has deteriorated rapidly...it's the same 2 fanboys making inflammatory comments over and over again in every single thread. It's like a virus. I have given up and going back to this ISF forum where true enthusiasts still reside. 
I just feel like guys in here are much more objective and knowledgable about their rides. Am I right or am I right?

Be interesting to see if the author responds, and if he adds it to the comments shown.
Nothing rude or stupid, just questioning why anyone would compare the two in the first place??
One has 5-door practicality with Q car looks, the other is an overweight Frankenstein!
If you have kids, you buy the IS-F. It seats people in comfort in the back, and has a boot that will carry a good amount of luggage.
You wouldn't get the RC-F. I hated having to keep folding the seats every time we got in and out of the car. The kids inevitably dragged their feet over the sills, making them dirty all the time!
If you need to take colleagues to the airport, you would want the IS-F. Can you imagine asking someone to squeeze into the back of the RC-F? Especially your boss who is 6ft 4! Lol.
Different cars for different things. Simples!

the fact that there are a couple folks on the RC forum expecting the TVD to make a difference in acceleration runs, and not really knowing what the TVD does, speaks tons. but im sure they will get up to speed once they get the car and start understanding/modding it....

You nailed it man, I was browsing that forum daily until the car was released. After that the fanboys took over and the whole section went to crap. It's funny how most of us (isf drivers) don't even consider the rcf an option. 2 less doors and 200 more pounds... No thanks

I'd like to see the track times of a new RCF against my modestly modified 2008 ISF in the hands of Randy Pobst at Leguna Seca.

I would. But that's because I'm partial to fast four door cars. And the RCF isn't a marked increase in performance over the ISF. And that, at the end of the day, is what's gonna be the deciding factor for most.
