Default 2014 LED Fog light color temp

Does anyone know what the color temp on these is?

I have a set I am planning to install when updating my headlights and am now considering a used MY2011 set. One of the nitpicky concerns I have is that the LED fog and LED strip on the headlights won't be close enough in color. I'm assuming the LED fogs would be a match for the LEDs on the 2014 headlights.

My understanding is the LED strip on the 2011 lights is 5000k while 2012+ is 6000k. I'm not sure if this is official or if it was just someones guess. I've seen pics comparing and while some look minor, others look drastic.

Not quite, LED fogs in my opinion is around 5500k. Led strip for 12+ is about 5000k. 11 LED is about 4500k I would say. I have and had them all on my car

Thanks. So I'm guessing the difference between LED fogs and the strip on the 12+ will be not exact but hardly noticeable while the difference 11 LED strip would look a bit off? Or am I taking the OCD a bit too far here?

Yeah it is much closer with the LED fogs and 12+ LED strips vs 11 LED. I made the mistake of ordering 6000k HID bulbs before I switched 11+ and 12+ LED. If I were you, I would get LED fogs plus 12" LED and 5000k or 5500K HID

I upgraded my 2012 fog to LED and they're seem to be abit whiter then my 2012 led daylight strips. My problem now is them oem headlights look like regular halogen bulbs compare to these. Anyone have any idea which headlight bulb color and brand should i get to match them? On the side note, i love that color on the new corolla. It looks a bit bluish at a certain angle. Thanks in advance.

New Corolla is 6000k LED light, it is beautiful. Rented one and I was impressed with the beam pattern and color of it

I recomend you to get something like Morimoto 5500k or Osram 5500k. They are pretty affordable. I have Garax 6000k and they have proven to last for a long time. They are just a bit whiter than the LED strip though

This pict may help you (or not) I don't have LED strip headlights, but I have upgraded the fogs to 2014 OEM units.

I actually wasn't even thinking about the actual headlights vs. the led fogs, which I guess is just as important since the fogs don't come on without the headlights.

Are your bulbs stock? The color difference doesn't look bad in this pic.

I don't remember what they look like normally since I went the horrible route of tinting them.

^^^^Yes, HIDs are stock. As you can see, I also replaced the small lone bulb in the top outside edge of the HiBeam nacelles.

Here is my car with 12 LED full brightness, LED fogs, 6000K Garax HID. I think the fogs and 6000k LED are close. The 12 LED are just a bit less blueish, even less in person. I don't think the camera really captured the true color of the LED strips. It's not that white.

Any idea on the wiring?

Go get your DRL turned off. After that, put a relay switch from ebay to draws the power to the fogs directly from the battery.

Are the LEDs plug and play to the 2012?
