Thank you for taking the time and money to debunk this tune. Let us know if you don't get your money back! We can start a charity or donation toward watching it get eaten by a massive shredder or something.

Thank you, its more than most would do

Just to see a member take the plunge and try a new product for the betterment of the IS F community was good enough. Props to Khoa for seeing this beginning to end. While it's not what was expected, at least there is a conclusion instead of the community left wondering by just taking the word of the product maker. +3HP/+7TQ isn't all that bad...if the price of the product was lower, and it does appear from other forum members that they have seen a price drop on this particular product. Is it now worth the $560? That ultimately depends on the consumer. Some will get it, others won't. In the end, it's each owner's decision to modify however he or she wishes.

Thanks to Khoa for getting the community some finite numbers and some closure to this product.

Well like everyone said thank you for stepping up. With all factors mentioned IMO it's still not worth the price and I am interested to see how Vivid will handle this.

I know you mentioned you seen the HG "tuning module" any info on that and what happened?

I was the test car for the HG tune. I payed nothing and HG went above and beyond to try their attempt at a tune. Initial gains were 20+ hp and 20+ tq but after two weeks or so the ecu started to pull timing. I redynoned and saw the loss in power. I took the module off redyoned and I was back to the numbers I was at before the install of their module. Great effort but our ecus won.

Those who say 3 hp for 700 dollars is an okay thing are out of their mind. That variance is insignificant considering the variables.

Even if it was 3 hp for 100 dollars, the product doesn't work folks. Variances between dyno readings from weather, maintenance on the machine, correction factors, blah blah blah. A dynometer is about as accurate and precise as my sphygmomanometer.

This effort goes back to the early 90's with the ECM from MR2's, Celica's, and the Supra family. The effort and resources have been missing for over 20 years now. The closest I've seen is ATSracing's attempt on the MR2.

I was skeptical from the beginning. Afer speaking with them and reading from their web site I was even more skeptical. One Size Fits All may work for socks, but not for ECU Tunes

Thanks for testing the product out and I hope you get a full refund from vivid racing.

I wouldn't even consider those numbers gains.
