Hey vj what dealer did you take yours to? I have to take mine in for the recall as well but I hate taking it to the dealer.

Hendrick has the coolest Service Writers. The corporation I work for has training programs at a college in Overland Park, needed some info. on a car I learned had been purchased new there.

Car was only 11 months old, with 7k miles, but I wanted all the service records. The gentleman I spoke to not only gave me all the records, but hooked me up with the salesman who originally sold the car for some insight on the original owner. Cool people over there.

yeah it better be seeing as lexus will now have my car until next week. SR said that they were having trouble locating a new radiator for my F. it actually is perfect as chitown is supposed to get 6"-8" of snow this weekend and the GS is awd.

Question, had mine F at dealer recently for free fan recall issues, they kept my car for a day and a rx350 loaner, upon reciept of my car it had been driven 25miles...that normal? and does this recall warrant removal of the bumper? Because I'm missing some plastic screw covers that hold the underbody engine shrouds, here and there, very minor stuff I can replace myself. Sewell lexus of fort worth is where I got it done, Service reps there where great top notch and professional. Mechanic was not as good or else I wouldn't be complaining on this thread. Lots of youngins Eyeballin my ride they kinda knew it wasn't totally stock Anyways thank you in advice for replies.

So bummed!!! Dropped my car off at the dealership today for this Cooling fan recall ONLY and I explicitly told them I did NOT want them doing that gas pedal recall. Well I get a call from the service adviser apologizing that this has been done! I told him I wanted the car flashed back to it's previous state if possible. The tech and service adviser are now looking into this and will let me know tomorrow if it's possible.

No left foot braking as a result of the ECU flash is a deal killer for me as track use will be significantly affected for the worse.

Was just talking with JoeZ and he said that Lexus techs are provided a rewrite forward file and NOT a rewrite backward file so I don't believe it's possible.
