Default Question - Aeroworkz Lexus ISF CF Front Splitter (3 PC Kit)

All,

I have a quick question hopefully a fellow member can help me answer. A few months back when the topic of the Aerowrkz 3 pc Front Splitter was being talked about on this forum and bought by several members, I liked the look and ordered one (3 PC Kit) and after about 11 weeks (they were upfront with their backlog so this was no surprise) and it finally arrived last week.

The question I have is have any of you that installed this Splitter also have any drop on your car? I recently installed 2014 suspension with Swifts to my 2008 and it lowered the car a tad and my concern now is if I add the splitter, I will be scrapping every speedbump, driveway and entrance and that is a no go for my taste..

My car is all stock minus the suspension and again my concern is I do not want a car that bottoms out.

Any comments would be appreciated and thanks and if it will scrape, I may have this unopened splitter available for what I paid minus the 11 weeks wait time.

Dave

If it fits like the aeroworkz splitters do you will lose about 1/2" clearance. I think its probably one of the most conservative lips you can get if you are concerned about losing clearance.

I haven't installed mine yet but will be putting some yatz slip tape carbon on the under side to hopefully protect against minor scrapes.

If you angle your car over most dips, and go over them slow (like you should anyways), I don't anticipate you will scrape. I have had some pretty low cars, and haven't scraped the front lip before. That being said, even exotic cars scrape the front lip at stock height some times, it may be unavoidable in certain situations like really steep driveways but definitely shouldn't be a deterrent from tastefully modifying your car like you've already done
