you could pass on the straights. It was my first time with this group so I went with level 2. I think I was a little faster than most on the track. In the higher groups they can pass anywhere with courtesy. Next time I may move up. This track absolutely suits the F. The corners are not super tight and there are a lot of high speed sweepers. She did the best here. Most importantly the car holds up very well. The only thing I have had happen so far was squeaky rear brakes for about 5 miles on the way ( stopped before I got home ) and I got a squeak in my seat that I had the dealership fix by simply removing the seat and lubing the hell out of the control switch box. No more noise. I think she is built for this type of driving

The 2010 was the first year with an LSD, right? I know when I went to my E36 M3 I found myself power oversteering all the time because it was so much more controllable compared to the 350.

Yup I got the LSD. Its actually the main reason I wanted to buy the 2010. The 2011s is mainly cosmetic changes. That must have been fun to power oversteer out of the corners. Not the fastest way to do it but you get a huge smile

Awesome, thank you for sharing! I love the smiles in just about every photo, lol.

The first time I took my car to the track there was a lady laughing at me. She said every time I came around the smile on my face got bigger.

Next time you go to the track, you may want to try sticking the go pro on the inside of your sunroof. I did that, and it's nice to be able to see your head and steering inputs. You can critique yourself a lot more effectively I think. You can tell when you're driving to points vs. looking ahead like you should be.

A bit of personal preference, but I think you might like it.

I was thinking of trying that too but I was concerned with the backlighting . Like it may go dark when filming when I drive into the sunlight. I ma assuming the GoPro is better than that but I have seen some footage from other people that was ruined by having the wrong setting. I love taking thsee videos and will give it a shot. I have the GoPro app on my iphone so I can view what its filming before I press record. I will try it with a preview. I was also thinking about mounting it on the roof but unsure about the wind noise. I also thinking mounting it on the side fender with the F in sight would be bad *** too

Got some pics from the track video. The one with the dust cloud was the Viper in front of me who literally spun off the track and into the dirt . The other was a mini that went off twice at the same corner

Great videos and pictures! Can't wait to get my IS-F on the track

For shooting from inside a car, use this feature on the GoPro: Turn on Spot Meter when filming from within a dark space pointing the camera into a brighter setting, such as filming the outdoors from within a car.

I film most of my videos from behind the driver on the rear window in my BMW. This video below has footage from both outside and inside so you can see what it looks like:

Very cool of you bud !! Thanks for that !! I will try that. I would love to be able to see the dash and my steering inputs. Would be cool to have a different angle.

In the mean time I just ordered some 20"x30" prints and frames for the garage of my ISF, LS460, and dropped GS350. My buddy RominL has inspired me. His garage looked so cool when I visited him.
