OEM Exhaust Mod (Res/Cat Delete & E-cutout)
Hey guys. I am looking to do an exhaust mod this weekend. I haven't been able to find a whole lot of videos of just a resonator delete.. and a 2nd cat and res delete. I am not looking to go the muffler delete route. Does anyone recommend doing either?
Here is my plan:
Fabricate a 3" pipe to replace the mid-pipe (I dont want to cut the stock midpipe). This will be a straight pipe with an QTP e-cut out.
Any suggestions? Is the piping too wide?

I wanna do something similar but havent found a vid of anyone who has done it. ive asked many time with no avail. i wanna redo from just before the secondary cats to the mufflers with 2.5" and x-pipe. please post up a sound clip when you get it done so i can have an idea of how its gunna sound. i know itll have a little different tone due to the single exhaust to ta dual exhaust, but itll be similar.

Just learned, that it is illegal in CA to do a Cat delete.. But somehow ok for a Muffler delete... Anyways, new plan:
Fabricate a 'axle-back straight pipe from the giant resonator... The question is, what flange do I buy, to match the rear section?

^^^^Many threads here about the rules and regulations in California. I don't believe a muffler removal is legal either due to noise. Read the link below:

Here's the vehicle code:

Muffler delete is clearly illegal too.

Removing the cat however can get them into serious legal issues. However changing out exhausts with cats on it isn't an issue..
I've removed cats from my stock exhaust before.. took about 10 phone calls though
