Default Dual tips on a Joe Z exhaust

Has anyone ever fabricated dual tips on a Joe Z exhaust to replace the faux tips? If so, curious to see pics of it and any info as to which tips were used would be greatly appreciated!

Most tips being used are 3.5" or 89mm size. Since Joe Z is single tip mufflers, you will just need to get a shop to do a y split to 3.5" dual tips if the conventional universal dual tips split on ebay doesn't fit in our rear bumper area.

Thanks brotha! I'll try to get a muffler shop to custom fab something. Any one with dual tips from any other set up have issues with their Toms diffuser melting or discoloring? I dont wanna mess that thing up once it arrives lol

I think you'll need to cut the exhaust pipe behind the muffler and shift it back so you can have room for a Y split to exhaust tips.. which will probably look really ugly and weird lol. But good luck.. everyone on the forum here who has bought tips for non-ISS exhaust exhausts ended up looking weird in one way or another. This is why ISS exhausts continue to hold their value lol

It would look awesome if done right. I was considering adding tips to my borla but I'm not sure anymore.

Real tips can look OEM.

These are the ones H&S in the UK do for their system:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f/742511-isf-and-gsxr-750-k6.html

They look very similar to the fake ones that are fitted from the factory.

The sound is stunning though!

I'm going with one of their systems as my next mod. Mine will have the secondary cats removed though.

Looks awesome!!! I am also a big fan of that greddy exhaust tip setup on the one that was for sale in the classified section a while back, it was built for sema I think

Since I don't want to start a new thread. I was wondering if you ever done anything with this, Davis? I'm in the same dilemma myself, I'm wanting to add some tips to my Joe Z exhaust, but the problem is the 3" tip on their now makes it pretty difficult to find 3" inlet. Any recommendations anyone care to share? Also, I saw the Joe Z exhaust for the RCF and that muffler has some exhaust tips on it...I just wonder if something like that couldn't have been done for the ISF as well?

Any good custom fab shop should be able to make real oem replacement tips to go on an aftermarket exhaust. I thought about this early on on mine but then realized why mess with the fake oem ones. They look perfect and almost every exotic these days rolls with diffuser exhaust tips. Oem is better quality than after market in many cases.
