Default KW V3 longevity

Good morning ISFer's. I placed an order for the KW v3 yesterday (going on my 2012) and am excited to get them in and installed. To those of you with these coilovers, how are they holding up after (x) many years of service? Also, what use are you getting out of them (street, track, combination, etc) and does that have any impact on their quality/longevity? From everything I've read, these are the way to go for the coilover for our cars, but I couldn't find much long term reporting.

Thanks in advance.

Zach

KW V3's are great coilovers and offer a wide range of adjustability. Not sure what you are going to be doing with them but longevity is not easily calculated. Road conditions, track days, and early failure of the coilover are all conditions that determine longevity.

Yea KW is one of the best out there I wouldnt worry about the projected lifetime of them.

They should be fine for as long as someone owns the car

Thanks F'ers (haha, nice). They should be in next week but I'll be traveling so it might be two weeks before I get around to the install. I'll report back, but expecting nothing but excellence.

you bought some top notch parts. Rest assured you will be fine. My Tein CSTs help for 65k and I heard from the new owner and he said the car was at 98k with the same coils. If Tein lasts like that then KW will have no issue

KWs were getting installed today and we found that one of the rears is defective. Not what I was hoping to find out with a product of this cost and alleged quality. Disappointed to say the least.

One of the rear shocks won't rebound and apparently sprayed fluid all over the tech. They called KW and were diagnosed as defective. Im still waiting for THMotorsports to get it together and have me ship them back and a new set sent. Starting to get frustrated with them now too as it's been 3 days with no resolution.

What a bummer man. When I was in the market for my coilovers I considered KW, but went with BCs instead due to having them on my last car. I hope this gets resolved quickly. Good luck.

Only update from THmotorsports was to say 'no update' today. About to send these back on my own dime and have the charges reversed by my CC company so I can spend my money elsewhere.
