I haven't done this myself, but will soon. From my understanding, Techstream isn't absolutely necessary since one of the newer more advanced Bartech TPMS tools can do the job for our cars.
I'd call around. Hopefully another shop near you has the correct tool.
For the sake of those that may not know.....New sensors, means the transmittal ID numbers must be inputted into the IS F's ECU. Unlike many other vehicles you must physically input the ID numbers into the positions on the Tech stream software to load into the car.
In the past the Bartec400 has been unable to do this, I am not sure if they have changed the software to accommodate this.
You can however clone new sensors using the same ID's, as most shops do this now, as it only requires programmable sensors that can capture the existing frequencies
The Techstream will be able to do this for two sets of sensors ID's.
