Headers will come soon, I'm going to gut the factory primary cats and redyno to see what kind of gains we can see with the stock manifolds.

I told my wife the IS-F was going to stay stock....so much for that promise. LOL.

Very nice gains! I want to go the Borla cat back for the sound alone, but any gain is great!

Where did you pick yours up from?

Thanks, the sound seems to get better each day. It definitely toned down a bit in the loudness department, probably 2/3 as loud as the first day. No drone which I love.

I picked it up from Summit Racing, $988 shipped.

this engine needs help breathing at high rpm, thats why exhaust and headers have huge gains on the high end

Yes this beast of a motor is pretty corked up from the factory with 4 cats, it's time to unleash the primaries and go for 400whp.

Thanks for posting this. I have been on the fence about doing an exhaust but this makes it that much more appealing. At least if I do the Borla I can save the $600 that the dealership will probably take for install. They are not cheap but they will fix any issues if need be and give me a 45k loaner car to go to work in. Dont have time to sit at shops........or any desire to do it either ( been there dont that)

Some sweet dyno runs, I had no idea a stock car w just a Borla was such a difference. When I took delivery of my car this past summer the car already had a Borla installed so I cant compare from stock & now. Adding PPE headers was just icing on the cake after that (no cats). Sounds great Borla/PPE if you decide on headers next, not too loud either just gives it a real nice growl. Congrats.

I'm up around 2-3mpg on the highway since the Borla install.

I'm down around town since I keep hammering the car so I can hear the exhaust.
